Individual assessment
Care starts with the person’s condition, abilities, priorities and recovery goals.
At Newro Rehab, we understand that neurological recovery is complex and rarely depends on a single form of therapy. A patient recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease or another neurological condition may face challenges with movement, walking, hand function, swallowing, communication, cognition, emotions and everyday independence. Each of these areas requires specialised knowledge and focused rehabilitation. That is why our approach brings together different rehabilitation disciplines, each contributing its expertise to the patient’s overall recovery journey.
Our rehabilitation departments bring together specialised clinicians, evidence-based practice, advanced rehabilitation and coordinated care. While each department focuses on its area of expertise, they do not work in isolation. Information, progress and goals are shared across the team so that rehabilitation remains connected and purposeful. As the patient's abilities change, the focus can change with them—from basic recovery to functional skills, independence and participation in everyday life. Different departments may have different roles, but the goal remains the same: helping every patient achieve the best possible recovery and quality of life.
